Dr. David Shaker is a compassionate primary care doctor and board-certified internist, committed to providing comprehensive care to his community. Fluent in both English and Arabic, and supported by an office staff fluent in Spanish, Dr. Shaker ensures that the Shaker Medical Group is accessible to patients from diverse cultural backgrounds. This multilingual approach enhances communication and care for patients from all walks of life.
Dr. Shaker earned his medical degree from the prestigious New York Institute of Technology, New York College of Osteopathic Medicine. He further honed his skills during his residency in internal medicine at Hackensack University Health Network, Mountainside Hospital. With certification from the American Board of Internal Medicine, Dr. Shaker offers expert care in addressing a wide array of patient concerns.
In addition to his clinical practice, Dr. Shaker holds several key leadership roles. He sits on the Medical Executive Committee of Mountainside Hospital and serves as the Medical Director of multiple medical rehabilitation sites. His expertise extends to the media, where he has published several medical-related articles, further solidifying his influence in the field.
